This is a quote from The Loin Witch and The Warrobe. Mr. Beaver is talking about Aslan who represents Jesus in the book. Also this is how Lewis him self discribes God from time to time. And it is a very true stament. We piture God as safe that all He is, is love. But we forget other asspect of God. We think that God is some one who wont rock the boat. Some one who is preditable and redunat. Hvae we for goten Jesus throwing ppl out with a wip from His house or the remarks He gives the Religious Leaders. We definatly do not have a God who is not tame. More like a ferice an powerful Worrior. And the thiing is that He is calling us to be that way as well. And it is not a safe place as we think. We want a place where we are in control and where we cofortable and not exposed. But that is where God wants us and that is where he is . When I look at Jesus I see a risk taker. Some one who is not afraid to tell the truth no matter what. It time for us to take it up to that level let stop being safe. And start liveing Like God the person who is not safe but is good. Who looks after every one. May we start living like that.
