Please Read all of it and make a post thanxs. It is very inportant.
Well here I am revisiting an old topic: love. It’s funny that out of all the words I know that this one is the one that I’m most scared of using. This word has so much meaning but we seem to not want to explore it. Why is it that we are afraid of the meaning of this word? I think that love has many layers. There is a love for things that are important in our lives like books, cars, our homes, etc. Then there is a love for our fellow man; a compassion that all mankind should have for one another. Then there is another love, and that is the love that you have for your close friends, the ones that you care about and hang out with the most. Then there is that love you have for that special some one (your girlfriend/boyfriend). This kind of love is an interesting love. It is an interesting love because it’s not a completely different level than friendship love, but it’s not completely on the same level as husband and wife love. Now you might be scratching your head wondering what I am talking about. See, in my eyes there is a big gap between these two loves, the friendship love and the marriage love. And this love is like a bridge between the two. Yes, I know that this may sound weird. See this love is an ever changing love, even more so than the others because it is a love that grows and has its own unique troubles and hardships. I sort of see it as a practice before marriage. When you’re dating someone you are (hopefully) trying to get closer to that person and as you do that your love for them grows. It is stronger than the friendship love, but it’s not as strong as marriage; however, as you continue in the relationship it gets stronger. Interesting is it? So for those of you that are shaken and scared to hear young couples using that word do not be frightened. If they are mature enough in their understanding to fully comprehend what love is, then their love is growing and needs to be nurtured, not discouraged. (Smiles) So don’t automatically judge them by their age, wait and see if they prove themselves to be mature, understanding young adults. Because I guarantee you that if they do love each other, then what you have to say isn’t going to make them break up, it’ll probably make them stronger. And for you young couples, remember that as well. You do not show your partner your love by having sex with them or by buying things for them. It’s nice to buy something for your loved one occasionally and so is holding them close or kissing them, but real love won’t stop loving you if you don’t buy something for them or won’t kiss them or won’t have sex with them. Now, I think there are three more levels of love. The level of marital love should take the most commitment and honor and respect out of every other type of love. If through your love for your boyfriend or girlfriend, your love has grown stronger and you’re now ready to make a life commitment to that person, then your love would convert to the level of marital love, it should transcend every other level of love that you have for other people. Then there is the love that you have for your child. This is a very powerful type of love. In a perfect world, everyone would love their child in a completely unconditional way, the same way that God most often describes his love for us. Then there is the love of God. This type of love can’t even be explained because it is so powerful, but it is because of this love we have the ability to love others. Blessed be the name of the Lord God. May His peace go before you and joy fill you.

Love is confusing...one of these days there will be words enough to explain the love we have for God and God the love for us His children, but I highly doubt it...because you are right there could not ever be the words to explain the love we have for God because when you think about it, you are speechless and the only thing that can explain the love we have for Him is our praises to Him. It shows in the way we walk and the way we act. Be blessed, Love Jess

it's weird to me how some people can seem so "in love", and you're saying, this is supposed to grow, right? and of course, their love grew really fast, and mine seem's somewhat slow, and it's a weird place to be.
and as far as love being fully understood, on any level... i disagree. i think love on any level is infinite, like God.
not to say you have to fully understand something to know it.
thanks for the post matt, i appreciate it.

Hey.... BTW im the same "anonymous" that's been giving Brian Foster messgaes.....
Well anyways, I think love is not a feeling, nor is it the truth of our life..... LOVE is a gift passed on to us from God, and we should use it everytime we meet someone new, in order to bring them confidence and will to prove they have a piece of God's love inside of them.... that's what we should all do.... we should prove we all have a heart filled with pieces of God's love because our mission in life isn't about loving, it's about giving love to other human beings, also showing our own precious love.... (and when I say giving love, I don't mean MAKING love, lol)
Well I hope this makes a difference, stranger, and I hope you understood what I mean: GIVE LOVE, FOR THE SAKE OF OTHERS....
